VARIO discharge products consist of a separate AC power supply unit for connecting one or more Eltex discharging components. In SINGLE discharging, the voltage generation (power supply unit) is integrated in the bar. Why do we differentiate in VARIO, SINGLE?
VARIO is a system known for its flexibility and scalability. It operates using a separate power supply, allowing the use of various Eltex VARIO components and ensuring a continuous stream of both positive and negative ions. Notably, in the VARIO network, you only need one power supply even for up to 40 meters of electrodes, enabling easy expansion with additional elements at any time. Moreover, the ability to replace components individually when needed makes the system more adaptable.
On the other hand, SINGLE presents a more compact solution with an integrated power supply. These components are usually powered by a 24 V line, eliminating the need for separate high-voltage cables. With the built-in power supply, SINGLE devices are user-friendly and versatile for deployment across different settings. Additionally, they have separate polarity adjustment, aiding adaptability in diverse working conditions.
The ultimate choice depends on specific requirements and user preferences. VARIO offers greater flexibility and expandability, while SINGLE is more compact and straightforward to operate.

HIGH-END discharge for highest discharge performance
The VARIO discharging bar flexBAR R60L with its free-standing, air-assisted spring tips has a very high passive discharge effect, which enables active operation even at low AC high voltage. To increase the range, a small amount of air optionally flows through the hollow spring tip. The air flow additionally serves the continuous cleaning of the emission tip.
Proven high performance discharging bar
The VARIO discharge bar blueBAR R50 creates a significantly higher active discharge capacity than most discharge techniques. The isolated ground conductor enhances the E-field at the active tips, contributing to increased production and velocity of charge carriers. Thus, significantly more positive ions and free negative electrons are available than with conventional bars. At the same time, the bars have a high passive discharge capacity. The resistance-decoupled tips ensure good discharge performance and make the bar absolutely short-circuit and touch-pro.

Safely discharged even in EX areas. The exBAR EXR5C is operated with an AC voltage of 5 kV at 50…60 Hz and is approved for use in Group IIG and IID potentially explosive atmospheres.

Safe discharge at large and changing distances
The intelligent sensor technology of the SINGLE ionSTAR RX3 discharging bar continuously detects the distance and existing charge of the object to be discharged and automatically adjusts the output power to the conditions currently present. The system brings excellent discharging capabilities to winder systems. The SINGLE discharge bar passiveBAR RG52 is available for passive discharging of electrostatic disturbances in the production process. The passivBAR RG52 is suitable for discharging moving surfaces. The optimal geometrical arrangement of the tips ensures effective passive discharging. The passiveBAR RG52 is mainly used when processing electrically conductive or conductively coated substrates such as metal films, metal composites or metallized surfaces.

The VARIO Static Combi Cleaner SCC is a highly effective cleaning unit that uses pulsating air jets to remove dust and dirt deposits on three-dimensional surfaces without contact. Due to the integrated discharge, the products are discharged during cleaning, which also improves the cleaning result.

The VARIO pointCLEAN SCC-P is a highly effective cleaning unit for the non-contact removal of troublesome dust and dirt deposits on three-dimensional, smooth or structured surfaces. Static adhering dust is discharged and blown off by a rotating nozzle with two air outlets. The rotation creates a pulsating effect. The nozzle diameter and the angle of the air nozzles can be adjusted independently.

Compact discharging power supply
The VARIO power supply COMPACT IONIZER ES24 is small and has 2 high voltage connections. It combines high power AC discharge and low voltage DC supply voltage. An ideal power supply for small power input and wherever space is limited. This power supply can be used as voltage supply for all Eltex discharge electrodes and blower nozzles in non-hazardous areas.
Due to the UL approval and DC supply voltage, this device is particularly suitable for machine and plant manufacturers with a worldwide customer base.
